Important message for all Victorian businesses
From 11.59pm on Friday 7th August 2020 all Victorian businesses with five employees or more will be required to have a COVID Safe Plan in place.
Designed to help protect employees, customers and visitors, your COVID Safe Plan must set out:
- Your actions to help prevent the introduction of coronavirus (COVID-19) in your workplace
- The level of face-covering or personal protective equipment (PPE) required for your workforce
- How you will prepare for, and respond to, a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in your workplace
- Demonstrate how you will meet all of the requirements set out by the Victorian Government and be updated regularly
To assist wine grape growers in developing their respective COVID Safe plans, we have attached some templates that may be used. Please note these are a guide only and growers should ensure their plan is reflective of their actual business operations (MVW takes no responsibility for any issues arising out of the use of the templates). Also attached is a COVID Safe plan guidance form.
If you have any queries please contact the MVW office.
Further information and templates are available on the Business Victoria website.
You can also call the Business Victoria hotline on 13 22 15 for support.
